1. Free Plan
The Free plan requires no payment and is not eligible for refunds.
2. Monthly and Family Plans
- You may cancel at any time via Settings → Subscription → Cancel Plan.
- Cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period; you retain access until the period ends.
- 14-day money-back guarantee: first-time subscribers may request a full refund within 14 days of initial purchase by emailing billing@elderwatch.ai, no questions asked.
3. Annual Plan
- The same 14-day money-back guarantee applies to first-time annual subscribers.
- After 14 days, annual plans are non-refundable for the remaining term, except as required by local consumer protection law.
4. Failed or Duplicate Charges
If you believe you were charged in error (duplicate charge, charged after cancellation, incorrect amount), contact billing@elderwatch.ai with your payment reference. Verified errors are refunded within 5–10 business days via the original payment method through Paystack.
5. Chargebacks
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting our billing team may result in account suspension while the dispute is investigated.
6. Jurisdiction-Specific Rights
This policy does not limit any statutory refund or cancellation rights you may have under local consumer protection law (e.g., EU Consumer Rights Directive, UK Consumer Contracts Regulations).
